Local Growth

Southern Nevada is growing fast. The question is whether that growth is building a stronger middle class—or just building profits for a few well-connected interests.

I’m fighting for a County that plans growth with the community in mind:

  • Good-paying jobs as the baseline, not a bonus. If a project is coming to our District, the County should be pushing for strong wages, career pathways, and local hiring.
  • Growth that funds services, so we aren’t constantly “catching up” on roads, schools, public safety, parks, and quality-of-life needs.
  • Neighborhood-first planning, so development doesn’t swallow the things that make our communities livable—like traffic flow, shade, walkability, and local access to services.

My standard is simple: if a policy or project doesn’t improve life for regular residents, it’s not good enough.
